Harbour Audience, Newlyn

Acrylic on Canvas Board, 60cm x 60cm

£950

Climbing Chywoone Hill, one of the main roads through Newlyn, can feel like quite a trek. The higher you go, the more Newlyn reveals itself inbetween the houses and greenery. This is painting is one such moment when an opening appears just after going past a house and over some bushes. The houses are quite a distance away and their colours muted against the strong greens in the foreground.

This painting was exhibited at the Summerhouse Gallery in Marazion, Cornwall, as part of the Newlyn Calling exhibition in 2024. It is signed and titled on the reverse.

Framed in a simple white tray frame, ready to hang.
