Morning Audience

This painting was part of my ‘An Audience With St Ives Bay’ exhibition which explored the idea the chalets in Riviere Towans in Hayle were the spectators with the sea and sky being the stage. The striking morning skies on the Towans are a sight to behold and it seemed fitting to create a painting where the chalets are the audience to the beautiful morning show. Spontaneity and energy come to mind when looking at this vibrant piece
