This is a view from one of the many slopes surrounded by chalets on Riviere Towans, Hayle, Cornwall. There is a moment when the arrangement of chalet roofs interlock, guiding your eye to the seafront coastal properties and onwards to St Ives. This painting is bold, with colour and movement.
